Welcome to the website of St. James-St. George Episcopal Church.  We are located at 398 Washington Avenue in the small but lovely town of Jermyn, Pennsylvania.  We are a close, family-oriented parish interested in being your new parish home!  Should you be in town, please stop by and worship with us on Sundays at 10 a.m.

If you do not have a church home, or if your church is not a home to you, we invite you to become a part of our growing parish family. Our church is open to anyone seeking a spiritual home.

General Church Information 

You may become a member by baptism, by letter of transfer, by confirmation, or by reception. For more information, please speak with the Reverend Graham, Priest-In-Charge or Janice Black, Senior Warden.  Both may be contacted by calling the Church Office or by email at ssjandg@yahoo.com

OFFICE HOURS:   Hours by appointment.  Call the church office and leave a message at 570-876-4896.

CHOIR REHEARSAL: Every Sunday after Mass, in the church.  

YOUTH GROUP MEETINGS: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of every month at 6:00 p.m., downstairs in the Undercroft.  Transportation is available; please call the Church Office and leave a message.  There are NO Youth Group Meetings in July or August.  Vacation Bible School is held during the first week of August; email us for details!  Our Youth Group and Vacation Bible School is ecumenical and open to children of all denominations.

VESTRY MEETINGS:  The Vestry of our Church meets on the third Sunday of every month immediately after Mass.  There are NO Vestry meetings during July and August.  Our meetings are open to anyone interested in attending.
